Speaker and Meeting Recap:
Our speaker for the January meeting was Major Shannon Wiley, Assistant PWST Officer for 1st Battalion, 23rd Marines. He gave a very informative update on the battalion which is currently serving in Iraq. He also brought us up to date on the support program for the families of our deployed Marines. The unit has done an outstanding job in Iraq and is looking forward to their return to the states this spring.
