Speaker and Meeting Recap:
The speaker was E. A. “Buddy” Grantham, the Director of the City of Houston Office of Veterans’ Affairs. This new position is designed to coordinate the city’s efforts to help veterans. In addition to briefing us on what his office does, he also spoke about the Mayor’s Returning Veterans Initiative whose purpose is to make Houston the best city for veterans.
