Speaker and Meeting Recap:

Our speaker for this month was Lt Col Barry Bridger. He is a retired Air Force officer who spent six years in Vietnam’s infamous “Hanoi Hilton” prison camp who will talk about this life changing experience – and the lessons it taught about himself.

“None know better than the combat veterans that the cost of freedom is high, but the blessings of liberty are priceless,” said Lt Col Barry Bridger, an F-4 pilot who was shot down over North Vietnam.

Barry Bridger’s thought provoking presentation focused on how he and his fellow POWs worked together to survive their years of incarceration. In this story of survival, bravery, teamwork and patriotism, Barry shared how the POW experience has helped him assess what is truly important in his life.
